Our founder, Mr. B. S. Nagesh, is one of the pioneers of modern retail and has more than 32 years of experience in retail. He is a firm believer of the philosophy of 25 years of learning, 25 years of earning and 25 years of giving back. TRRAIN (Trust for Retailers and Retail Associates of India) is his way of giving back to the industry that gave him so much over the course of a rewarding career.

Ameesha Prabhu (CEO)

Ameesha started her career in retail over 20 years ago, with rich experience in various department and specialty stores, lifestyle and value formats. She has worked with organizations such as Tesco Hindustan Wholesaling, Aditya Birla Retail Ltd, Crossword Bookstores Ltd, SWATCH Group and Shoppers Stop. Her understanding of the retail environment as well as her empathy with the front-end associates is the result of her personal journey from the shop floor to the being the Head of Buying. At TRRAIN, she has overall responsibility for all its initiatives and is a role model and mentor to the enthusiastic, young team.

Meera Shenoy (Co-Founder)

Meera Shenoy, Founder, Youth 4 Jobs is recognised as a pioneer in market linked skill trainings for rural, tribal and disabled youth.  She works both on policy, strategy and implementation of large projects, with a focus on the vulnerable. Her recent work was supporting the Advisor to the Prime Minister, Ramadorai, in his capacity as Chairman, NSDA. She was also Senior Advisor, UNDP, Youth Skilling. She worked as the World Banks’ specialist in youth and skilling in their poverty alleviation projects. She began her work in skilling as Executive Director of EGMM, the countrys’ first Jobs mission for rural and tribal youth, which she helped set up from scratch for the Andhra Pradesh government in 2004. Nancy Desai: (Finance and Fundraising)

TRRAIN relies on Nancy, its very own finance wizard, for funds mobilization for its various initiatives. She has been with TRRAIN since inception and was actively involved in structuring and registering the organization. Among her educational qualifications, Nancy holds a PGDBA from ITM, Bangalore and a CFA (Advanced Diploma in Business Finance) from ICFAI University. Prior to TRRAIN, she spent several years handling private client portfolios at HSBC InvestDirect and Kotak AMC. After this extensive corporate experience, contributing to a non-profit comes as a welcome change and motivator to her.

Swati Sontakke (Finance & Accounts)

Swati has a Post Graduate degree in Commerce from Mumbai University with a specialization in accounts and finance. In her current role, she is responsible for managing the accounts and secretarial practice. She also holds a Diploma in export management and is certified for conducting society audits. She started her career in 1997 with IDBI Bank as an Executive in the Trade Finance Department and later moved to ICICI Venture Fund Company, Loyalty Solutions and Research, in 2006. She upholds TRRAIN’s credibility with her uncompromising, meticulous approach to accounting. 

Satyam Palaspagar (Regional Manager - West, Pankh)

Myself, Satyam Palaspagar. I have more than 5 years of experience in social sector with hand on experience in Planning, Budgeting, Implementing of CSR Activities. Also have experience in Project Management, Fund Raising, Resource Mobilisation, Training, Counselling, Liaison, Networking & Coordination with stakeholders & Government authorities .Before TRRAIN, I worked with Lodha Group as Dy. Executive - CSR. Previous to that I worked with national AIDS Control Organization( NACO) for 3 & half years.

Ganesh Swamy (Regional Manager - South, Pankh)

Pray, Work (Out), Travel and Respect is how Ganesh describes about himself. A perfect fit for Project PANKH! Got corporate experience of 4 years, with Accenture 3 years and Wipro Technologies 1 year respectively and He has also Completed his Masters in Social Work(HRM) from Christ University, Bangalore. With Professional Social Work and Corporate experiences, He plans to take PANKH to all new heights. He is also being positive that through new experiences and opportunity he will be able strengthen his Wings for career development.
